Why Take Defensive Driving?
The state of Delaware offers residents certain benefits upon completion of a DMV approved defensive driving course. Specifically, according to 18 DE Reg 607, insurance companies are required to offer a discounted rate for auto insurance. Secondly, a three-point credit will be added to the participants Delaware driving record within 48 hours of completing the course.
